Getting started

Prestige

Take a skill you have finished and put it back to level 1. You keep nothing of the levels and gain something better: points, coins, and a mark on the hiscores that says you did it more than once.

What happens

  • The skill drops to level 1. Hitpoints goes to 10, as it does on a new account.
  • You gain prestige points equal to how many times you have now prestiged that skill.
  • 1,000,000 coins per prestige of that skill land in your bank — the second time is worth two million, the third three.
  • The world gets a message with your name and your new total.

Points are the currency of the prestige panel, where they buy and upgrade perks. Prestiging the same skill repeatedly pays better each time, so depth beats spreading yourself thin.

On the hiscores

Prestige outranks experience. On a skill board a player with more prestiges in that skill sits above one with more XP, and the prestige column shows that skill's count rather than your lifetime total. Someone who reset and climbed again is ahead of someone who never left 99.

Prestiging Necromancy clears your familiar loadout, because the level requirement is gone with the level. The souls you have unlocked are permanent and stay unlocked.

If your bank is full when you prestige, the coins drop on the floor instead and the server warns you. Make room first.
